学位课程一年级学生负责餐厅午餐



The students utilized skills learned this semester in advanced cuisine, patisserie, wine and beverage and front of house operations. They engaged in all aspects of the lunch: designed the menus and matched wines, prepared all of the food, managed front of house and designed table settings and menus.  The students performed brilliantly and demonstrated their skills exceptionally well in all areas.
学生们将这个学期学到的知识应用在高级西餐西点,葡萄酒,餐饮以及前台运营。他们全面从事午餐的各个领域:设计菜单,配酒,准备食物,管理前台以及设计餐桌布局。在这个过程中,学生们的表现非常出色,他们的才能在这一过程中得到了充分发挥。

Three of Wellington’s leading chefs were present –  Paul Hoather from Whitebait , Laurent Loudeac from Hippopotamus, and Ketan from 180 Degrees at the Copthorne.
惠灵顿(Wellington)三位名厨纷纷现身国敦酒店(Copthorne),分别是来自银鱼餐厅(Whitebait)的Paul Hoather,河马餐厅(Hippopotamus)的Laurent Loudeac,以及180度(180 Degrees)餐厅的Ketan。

When asked for their reactions they all said they were impressed. Ketan even said “the standard was higher than he had experienced at many restaurants”. Pressed to find faults, Paul Hoather said he could find none. We are extremely pleased with their performance.
当被问到他们对于这次活动的体会时,他们都说这次活动以及学生们的表现给他们留下了深刻的印象。Ketan甚至说到“比起他曾经体验过的多家餐厅来说,学生们在各个领域的服务水平及技巧更加高超。”本该找出缺点及不足,但Hoather说他挑不出任何毛病。为此,我们为学生们的出色表现感到非常骄傲。
